Design After labor

Design After Labor explores how embodied making can be used as a design methodology. Through a series of experimental furniture studies, the project investigates how labor, effort, and material transformation can be communicated through form and process. The final chair applies these insights to create an object that encourages reflection on value, care, and the hidden work behind the things we use every day.
